We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous outdoor space where children can play, explore, and learn in the fresh air. Our large garden offers plenty of room for physical activity, sensory exploration, nature-based learning, and of course, lots of fun! Whether it's planting flowers, building obstacle courses, or searching for bugs, our outdoor area supports creativity, confidence, and wellbeing.

Star of the week ⭐️
Our star this week is our amazing new deputy manager Daniella!
Please join me in welcoming her to the team. She originally worked in our sister nursery Bromley MP as a room leader, she moved bed onto another nursery, and then saw the job advertised with us as deputy manager and after a very successful interview, the role was offered and Daniella excepted!
She has just completed her third week with us and is absolutely smashing it! She is getting to know the staff team, our amazing children and their equally amazing families, and she is beginning to get a hold of what is expected of her in her role ⭐️

Celebrating success 🎉
This is Nick our AMAZING operations manager, he supports not only Orpington MP, but also Bromley MP, Tunbridge Wells MP & Sevenoaks MP.
He is celebrating 7 years of being part of an amazing organisation and team.
He supports all the management teams across the 4 nurseries with everything from funding, to recruitment, to training the staff teams.

Celebrating success and years service with some of our fantastic team 🎉
First up celebrating 3 years service here at Monkey Puzzle we have…
Arizona our deputy room leader in the cabin. She started in our big baby room, and when we told her about the cabin, she said yes to a new challenge and has been there ever since. She comes up with some brilliant activities for the children such as, the children showed an interest in dinosaurs, next thing the children were making commits and planets and were learning what prehistoric meant. She’s doing a great job, and we’re very grateful for everything she does 🎉
Next up is Paige our nursery SENDCo in the preschool room. She started off as one of our bank staff and like it so much she wanted to be a permanent member of staff. She then took on the role of SENDCo at the same time as starting her level 3 qualification in childcare. Paige loves to sing and dance with the children, even today she was playing all the Disney songs and joining in with the children. She’s doing a great job, and we’re very grateful for everything she does 🎉
Then we have Adele our lunch cover in the toddler room. Adele has been a constant in the toddler room, she comes up with some amazing activities to do with the children, one of her most recent ones that was linked to the children’s farm interest was how to milk a cow! She made a cow out of old boxes and got the children to paint it, she then filled gloves with water mixed with white paint and showed the children how to milk the cow. This had the children engaged for ages. She’s doing a great job, and we’re very grateful for everything she does 🎉
Next up celebrating 2 years service is Dawn our lunch cover in preschool. Dawn was originally lunch cover in the toddler room and when an opening came up in the preschool room we asked Dawn if she would like to try something new…and she’s been there ever since! Dawn is very hands on with the children. She’s doing a great job, and we’re very grateful for everything she does 🎉
And celebrating 1 year of service we have Emily our apprentice in the big baby room. Originally Emily started in our cabin with the older children, then one day she was asked to support in the baby room, and she liked it so much that she never left. Emily is always down at the children’s level, and she is currently doing her level 3 qualification. She’s doing a great job, and we’re very grateful for everything she does 🎉

Star of the week ⭐️
Our star this week is our awesome Molly from Toddler Room!
We needed help in the kitchen this week and she offered her skills and helped our lovely April with the washing up, reading out the allergies to April and helping to carry the food trays down the stairs and into the rooms.
