Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Orpington, located at Rowan House, 64 Sevenoaks Road, Orpington, Kent BR6 9JL. Our nursery is located close to the High Street in the town centre and is only a short walk from Orpington training station, making us perfect for families working in the local area or commuting in and out of London.
Our Orpington nursery provides a nurturing home-from-home environment, for children aged 3 months through to pre-school age. With an emphasis on learning through play, our carefully selected team of practitioners ensure your child is cared for in a safe, secure environment with planned activities to keep them engaged whilst having lots of fun.
We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child.
We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 12 months, toddlers aged 12 months to 2 years and toddlers aged between 2 and 3 years old and lastly preschool aged three years plus. Due to our rooms being equipped especially for these ages, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

Star of the week ⭐️
This weeks star of the week is our amazing pre-school room leader Charlie. She’s had a great week in her room with her staff, she’s been busy with her SEND work and supporting the children & their families where needed and she’s always ready to support the staff team if they have any questions for her. The children think she’s cool and we think she’s pretty great too.

Celebrating success ⭐️
Here is our amazing deputy room leader from pre-school who is celebrating 3 years here with us.
Ellie originally started in our toddler room but wanted to try the pre-school age and hasn’t looked back. She is a great team member, a great key person, the children adore her and we think she’s pretty great too ⭐️

Star of the week ⭐️
This week’s star is our amazing lunch cover Adele who works in Toddlers.
She has gone above and beyond for us these last few weeks with extra hours, supporting our sister nursery and just being all round awesome!

Celebrating success ⭐️
This is a double celebration for our lovely Emma in little babies, not only has she gained her level 3 diploma in children’s learning and development, she has also been promoted to Room Leader.
Emma has gone from strength to strength this year, from winning employee of the year in December to becoming the new room leader!
Emma started with us as one of our bank staff and enjoyed it so much that she joined us as a full time nursery assistant, she’s a great team member, always has a smile on her face, has some lovely bonds with her key children and has some great activity ideas too!
